Do I need prescription glasses for 0.25 cyl ?

Hello,
I know that there was a thread here about something similar, but it's closed now. I've went to the ophthalmologist for a routine check and he gave me this prescription for glasses:
OD: +0.25 CYL, axis 35
OS: +0.25 CYL, axis 95
DP 63mm
My age: 30
These are the only values, no SPH whatsoever. I do not get headache or eye strain.
I've had a difficult time reading 2 or 3 letters from the bottom line of the eye chart, but when I looked through the test lenses he gave me I could easily see every letter/number.
He told me that I should wear the glasses when working (desk job in front of the PC) and driving.
Do I really need glasses for this small 0.25 correction ? Am I being duped since the ophthalmologist also has a glasses store at his clinic ?
Thank you and sorry for my bad English. I'm from Europe.
