But different people have different definitions of "success". Not everyone wants to get to the very top of whatever profession they are in. If you are happy with how your career is at the moment and have a good work-life balance that is "success" in its own way.

Hes a director. So should answer any emails that are urgent, even if just to put the right person onto it. No hard work is required.
