Do not know how to put this in as a link - what are peoples views on this product as a means for a buy to let re-mortgage?
It means I do not have to do another deal in 2-3 years time which means more arrangement fees and more hassle re-mortgaging, get a fairly decent rate, not excessive fees, good LTV ratio for my purposes.
Obviously it is a gamble as to whether they put their interest rates down if there is a rate reduction but the mere fact that you can walk away without any penalties apart from a redemption fee which is standard - means they will not want to shoot themselves in the foot.
