Relying on Santander to guve us a new deal

Just thought I would run this by you. My fixed mortgage deal is not due to expire until Sept this year with Santander but I am aware I may not be be able to remortgage elsewhere due to recent defaults on my file and overall credit history.
Does anyone know how Sanrander operate in terms of offering new fixed deals to existing customers at the point at which their current deals expire?
My concern thinking ahead is that if the rate reverts to their SVR and no new deal is offered I will be paying around £200 pm more than I am now?
Thanks for any advice

lenders usually offer customer retention deals usually online in your account"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
