New online SA form designed by a child with a crayon

The new online SA forms seem to have been designed by a child with a crayon. They have huge writing with huge buttons. Whereas the old green forms looked professional and serious, these new ones look childish.
Also it is flagged as a 'Beta', I want to be using a fully tested product not a beta.
One real problem is that so little fits on a page even on a large computer screen - you need to be constantly scrolling, whereas the old forms mostly fitted on one page. Having to scroll makes it much harder to check the entries before clicking 'Save and continue'.
A specific problem is that on the Overpaid tax repayments screen it won't allow you to proceed to the next screen without inputting something, even though I don't have any overpaid tax so they don't need bank account details. This screen alone made me think it might be a scam trying to capture my bank account details.

...ah, you noticed a few problems too!
Some just poor presentation, lackof clarity, not verbose enough, correct answers lead to incorrect status results (already seen and noted on this board in respect of low income from property and self-employment/trading) errors related to incorrect back tax affecting calculations, SA tax calculation results and payments out of sync with online tax account.......
Just ones I know of to date......
Not sure why we have to use beta versions for SA or get info from the gov web pages in beta! Too important a topic to use test versions or get the customer to find the issues for the IT designers!!0 -
When did this begin, I did just before Christmas and it seemed fine, is it the same or a new release very recentlyHeedtheadvice wrote: »SA tax calculation results and payments out of sync with online tax account.......
Yes.. this bit is bad. Payment due dont show up-to-date so if you have several payments or interest etc you can end up accidentally paying the same one twice. Also payments history doesn't show properly, even when I call them they have no idea how much I owed, what has/has not cleared as takes several days or if I have overpaid, they use the same system pretty much....The greatest prediction of your future is your daily actions.0 -

IIRC, my browser's zoom feature addressed this issue.0
