NIC on pension contributions

My daughter is in a workplace defined benefit pension scheme. She wants to make AVCs so her employer will set up a second pension plan for this. Am I right in thinking her AVCs would be made after both employer's and employee's NIC have been deducted?

Employees NIC will be charged on full gross salary, including pension contributions (unless it is a Salary Sacrifice scheme) is that what you mean?
Employers NIC wouldn't be relevant as that is only recorded in payslip for info, it isn't a deduction.0 -
Thanks for clarifying my early morning muddled thnking re employer's NIC.0
