Applying for loan after accepting new mortage deal with existing lender

We recently applied to renew a deal with virgin as our fixed deal ends in march. A few weeks back we got as text to say our application was successful and our new deal with begin the day after existing one ends. Perfect 😊
Since then my brother is looking a new car and has asked a price to trade in his existing. He has then offered me his existing car at the trade in price, as you can imagine, this is a very good deal for me!
Unfortunately I don’t have the money at the moment but was thinking of taking out a personal loan.
So my question is, if I apply for the loan would this impact my mortgage application, even thought there was new credit check etc when changing deal and I have confirmation all is OK?
