Company Car / Fuel Claim Query

Hello,
I’m after a bit of advise as I have searched high and low and can’t see the answers.
My job comes with a car allowance which I have started claiming as I am using my own car for business use.
My issue lies with the fact that the company pay for all my business fuel by way of a fuel card. I also get a monthly amount for the car.
My question is that if I didn’t have my fuel paid for I could claim 45p per mile for the first 10k miles and then 25p per mile afterwards. However as I get fuel paid for, how much should I therefore claim back from HMRC, as I don’t know how the calculate it.
Any help would be appreciated!

business miles done x 45p (25p as applic) = £x
cost of fuel paid by company (figure to be provided by your company each month) = £y
£x - £y = expense claimed on your tax claim
cash to be refunded : expense x your tax rate so for example £100 of expenses x 20% = £20 tax refund0 -
Th aka for the reply. I suppose then the only issue is that, if I do personal miles in my car then the figures would be skewed as the fuel card purchases would then also include personal miles.
It’s a minefield!0 -
do you pay your employer for the personal fuel usage or is this a taxable benefit in kind you have?0

My employer deducts personal mile fuel off me.0

I would just get a bookkeeper or accountant to look over this quickly. I am pretty sure Quickbooks will work it out for you.0
