Hi All
Due to a change in policy at work, anyone not living within 1.5 hours from the office has to pay to get to work. I live in northern ireland and the cost to me is flight, hotel , car park at airport, car hire weekly. I travel a lot with work and they will pay all my travel but only from London I am moving into a flat at the beginning of Feb and wondered if I can get tax relief on any of the extra costs for me to go to work. Can anyone give me some advice? Thank you.

where is your contractual location? is the London office a temporary location? how long for?
travel from home to work would be taxable as not an allowable expense0
