I was hoping someone on here could give me some advice in relation to filling out my Self Assessment Tax Return please?

You say you can't afford an accountant, I think you can't afford not to have one. HMRC can investigate and cost you thousands for errors. Your questions show you don't have a clue.
Maybe have an accountant do it one year and you can copy their workings for future years?

No, you certainly don't include last years' tax as an expense in this year's return.

If you're not going to pay an accountant to do it, you need to set aside some time and read/research it yourself - there are helpsheets on HMRC's websites covering the basics. Getting it wrong and getting fined is likely to cost you more than an accountant's fees.

presumably you have read the notes and helpsheets on how to complete a tax return, yet given the dreadful questions you are asking, it appears you really, really, need to get someone to do it for you because such simple stuff is answered in there already.
