so AlanP each week is 10% of your remaining working life, which is nice

annoy your co-workers by putting up a board (the week after next) with a 10 x 10 board and then tick one box every half day

    I like the 10% idea.

As I am WFH there are no colleagues to see a countdown board.

I have decided I will start my vocational freedom end of April 2022. It would have been this year until I got a written quotation, rather than rely on a website, which gave me an extra 9.5% on my DB pension. I had to go one more year rather than leave a significant increase on the table. I might even defer my pension for another year as again another 9.5% increase is due.
I plan to take a reduced annual pension such that when my SP is added in 4 years, will keep me just avoiding higher tax. This will give me a good TFLS.
    Mortgage free
    Vocational freedom has arrived

Hi all, I'll join in, hoping to also retire at 55 which is the end of 2020. So I can also say "I'm retiring next year", but with one proviso, see how the markets go :P

    Finally retiring next week!
Congratulations. What do you plan to do with your time?
