I wanna sea fishing rod

I'm looking to buy some sea fishing equipment.

I used to fish a lot when I was a kid, but not done anything for the last 25 years or so.

I'm looking for a beachcaster rod which can also be made into a boat rod and I'll need a decent reel as well.

I'm asking you guys for help as I usually buy decent quality gear, but I'm not sure which is the top makes anymore. I wouldn't know a good rod from a stick of wood

If you could throw a few good makers names or brand names at me it would help my search.
