Hi Question re location and comps

Hi not done comps on here for a while but can i ask a question please
Many years ago i lived in Leeds and did really well with winnings but with now living very rural ...Cairngorm Mountains in the Highlands ..would location play a factor in winning any competitions or is it still luck when chosen and location doesnt matter? Many thanks .

For properly run UK wide comps I don't think location has any relevance. Some specify mainland UK or exclude N.Ireland but this would not affect you. There have been competitions that specifically exclude North Mainland Scotland as well (eg. AB, IV, KW, PH) but these are rare and seem to be dictated by delivery costs for bulky items.
Local comps or "collect" comps are a different matter, but this affects everybody and you can gain as much as you lose. For example, with an AB postcode you can enter Northsound, MFR and STV comps.0 -

Maybe its luck, maybe its location... I'm a little further North of you (about an hour north of Inverness) My last competition win was June 2017.
Maybe 2019 will be my lucky year
