Annexe council tax

Hi - we techincally have an annexe on our property. The property is band F, annexe band A.
I phoned the council a few years ago and said that we werent using it as an annexe, so they reduced it by 50%, so we now pay about £50/month for it. The 'annexe' is joined on to the kitchen, comprises of a toilet (with bath which we do not use), kitchen which we use as our utility, and a home office and playroom.
Does anyone have any advice on the liklihood that I could get this removed as an annexe? To us its just our ground floor, and without it we would have no downstairs toilet. I know i can apply to have it assessed and hopefully removed, but this could also increase by house (band F) could it not?
Any thoughts or advice appreciated!

Sounds like something best left alone to be honest since your Council Tax band might increase by more than the £50 a month you are already paying..0

The rules may have changed, so check with the VOA before doing any work, but it used to be sufficient to remove the cooker and cooker point and plaster over where the cooker point was.
As Money has stated, your band would probably increase to Band G.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
