Flannels and muslins

Hi
I’m wondering whether there is a saving to be made on muslin cloths / flannels - looking for some recommendations please. I like to use them to take off my cleanser and have a stock of them I use and wash, but they need tppping up. I’ve been using the excellent Liz Earle ones, and some cotton flannels (M@S), which I’ve had for years and have lasted well, are there cheaper alternatives that will last and work as well ?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I just buy muslin fabric and sew it into squares
Much cheaper, though probably not as neat and tidy-looking as the shop bought ones.taking a self-enforced break from this forum due to the persistent and ongoing troll problem, and the systematic abuse of the report button system in order to get people/usernames banned0 -
Mothercare do 12 muslin cloths for £15ish (available in the baby section at Boots). Not as cheap as Jemima's DIY suggestion but cheaper than the cosmetic ones and basically the same.0

Thanks! Have you tried the mothercare ones at all? Keen to make sure I don’t buy them cheaper and find them wearing out way quicker !0

We bought the baby muslins in tescos - quartered them and stitched them. (i don't know if they still do them they were the size of two tea towels so quite large)
that was nigh on 16 years ago and they are going strong!
We did over estimate though and bought 3 bundles of three and each cloth made four flannels - but i like to use a clean one each time so they do rotate0 -

Yes, mine are currently having a hard life as actual baby muslins (as well as me using them for cleansing) and doing really well. Just make sure you don't tumble dry them.0
