just one thing to add on baby milk - I used to get mine at the health centre, they sell it at wholesale price. The one I used was something like £7.50 in the shop but £4.70 ish at the HC (that was a few years ago)

I just did an online shop (without buying anything!) to find out what it will cost myself and OH when we get married. it came to £160 but i reckon that was not far off a months stuff, with some of it lasting more and some less than a month. it might end up being a bit more but I feel pretty happy with that over all.

Again wondering if we've been of any help -not that it really matters, but my post (#6) took ages to write and I lost half of it and had to start again. Sorry to sound disgruntled, and I see 8 people have found it useful, but has any of this been useful to the OP ?

    Hi all

This thread has been interesting to me too. I can't get below £70 either, although I know part of this is due to not actually going to the shops, I only do my weekly shop online this is due to not having much spare time. In my last post I said that mealplanning had made me spend more than usual, but I suppose some of the stuf would have been split to go into the following weeks plans.....
I can't get the hang of all this yet
