  • So the only risk would be if my UK creditors sell my debt to debt collectors in the country where I live. Is that a common practice?
    Will I be arrested if I ever visit the UK again?
    , I am not in trouble yet or intending not to pay my debts but the future is unknown. Just considering the worst that can happen

    You cannot be arrested for debt, it is a civil matter.

    You might want to make sure your pension (or any other money) isn't paid into any bank that might be associated with any company which which you have a debt.
