Statement of Fact - advice needed

Not sure if anyone can help but, I've signed a statement of fact through a screening company saying I was not in employment during a period of time (after University and before my current role)

I've realised I forgot to declare I worked at a supermarket for two weeks over the Christmas period as a temp, during the period of time I signed to say I wasn't in employment.

Is it best to admit that i forgot about the employment?

Given that they have no access to your files with HMRC and the tax man certainly doesn't tell employers who your previous one was I doubt they can find out and they rely on honesty. Government agencies though are a whole different kettle of fish as they can wade through your records with HMRC.
