    If you have experience in real estate, perhaps you could apply for Saturday work as a sales/ letting negotiator whilst you focus on other areas during the week? This would give you an income and probably a confidence boost - and you might not find yourself as 'rusty' as you imagine...

    Having got an aspergers son myself I can sympathise.


    But the thing I think you should take away from this is you want to work and you are prepared to do something about it.


    I was unemployed quite a while back but I seem to remember colleges do courses ( in whatever you want ) at highly reduced rates for the unemployed? Might be worth a check.


    Plus there are lots of online resources like cybrary or udemy which can offer some quite good learning for really a pittance.


    Keep pushing forward and you'll get there even if you have to start again.
