Sooooo I’m exceedingly chuffed with myself today. Sometimes it’s just the smallest of things that make you go phew! I did it!
Progress made today is:
* opened new bank account (Santander)
* opened moneywise credit union account (for EF)
* Cancelled overdraft on joint account
* Rang barclaycard re: DMP (now on 30 day hold)
* Rang Barclayloan re: DMP ( also now on hold)
* Closed Next account
* Emailed new direct debit mandate back with new account details for DMP
I know it’s not much to some people but all of these are huge steps towards my DMP and trying to sort between, work, kids, dogs etc, sometimes just squeezing in one phone all is amazing 😂 Also, I’ve been dreading ringing creditors, literally dreading, turns out no need. They were literally so so nice, so understanding, happy with help and advice and pleased is sought help with StepChange too.
Phew! 💁🏻!
