You need to replace the '!!!!' with 'p iss' (without the space). As was mentioned yesterday the above answer link shows the letters reading from top left down to bottow right. Today 'grownup issue' rolled into one means the censors kick in on this site.
As luck would have it, I've been out all day till now, so unfortunately quite a few people may have submitted an incorrect solution. The crossword page allows multiple submissions, so it may be worth trying again - however, no-one has any idea about whether any submissions after the first one are effective or not.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
I had to change all the quiz links to co.uk as they weren't working for me.

No advantage to Pigsback or the the retailer?! Please tell me you are joking!
For one thing, Pigsback is a company. How do you suppose they make their money? If they didn't offer incentives they would have no audience with which to attract customers.
As for the advantage to the retailer, that would be the advertising. Retailers use TV ads, bill boards, ads in magazines and many other methods to make consumers aware of their products and services. Having Pigsback encourage us to click on a link to open a page detailing their products and sevices is just another form of this.
The bottom line is that Pigsback is only valuable to retailers because of the number of active members they have. Those active members were attracted, and are maintained, by the offers of incentives. If Pigsback continue to cut those incentives back, they will attract fewer members and lose existing members, making them less valuable to their partners, up until the point their business can no longer make enough to survive.
So, please don't think that Pigsback offer us these "free" "money for nothing" click-throughs out of the goodness of their hearts!! :rotfl::rotfl:
You managed to completely miss my point - which is that yes, Pigsback is a company and yes, exactly, they profit through advertising. That is when genuine casual customers are interested in an advert and click through to find out more. NOT when obsessive clickers (myself included!) click on the paid links purely for the 5p and with no interest in the product.
We are working the system - we should accept that. It is great if we can make money for clicking, I for one barely remember the names of the companies I click through to - let alone buy from them. The idea is to generate customers - so if Pigsback and the retailers find they are paying out huge amounts without generating much extra revenue, of course they will rethink their tactics.
They continue to offer incentives for purchases. Makes sense to me.0 -

It's happened once before DS but that was at least a year ago if not 2There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Each to their own obviously, but there are things I use more often after seeing them on pigsback. I'd never heard of Snapfish before PB and now use them regularly as just one example. so I think PB do a fairly efficent job of advertising!
