I am glad it is not just me who has done daft things: our days of leaving teeth marks in the carrot left out for Rudolph are gone, and Rudolph sometimes used to leave a message too.

We never left footprints: my boys would have wanted to know why the snow hadn't melted ...
Sadly, this also means that the days of chocolate being left out for me are also gone ... You do get hungry wrapping presents in the early hours!
And now the boys are all bigger than me, I handed them their stockings when we got back from the late church service on Christmas Eve, and said it was up to them when they opened them. The youngest went to bed muttering about me killing Christmas traditions (ie how HE wants things done!) and he's continued to mutter all day ...
Back on a piggy subject (almost! :rotfl:) I am pleased to report my new oven cooked the bacon and pork sausages along with the turkey in a most satisfactory manner.
