Jules-2005 has also put them on the first page, post 3.
I was getting the same thing, started to get worried they don't work for me.
I wish people would scroll back a page or two or even use the search facility.0 -
I like to do the crossword myself, but I have noticed that if I click on a completed crossword link, it always says "Thank You. Your crossword has been submitted. Check the winners page tomorrow to see if you have won."
This happens even if I'm not signed in to Pigsback.
I even tested it out on a friends PC, who doesn't have a Pigsback account and I still got the same message.
Does anyone know for sure that it works. I'd hate to think lots of people were missing out on entering.0 -
I dont know either. Even if you complete the crossword manually, if you try and go into the crossword again it lets you complete it again - whereas other areas in pigsback say that you have entered the competition. ??? For what its worth I manually complete the crossword just to make sure.

This is by now an old chestnut. Occasionally an MSE PB member posts on here that s/he has won the crossword, but no-one has ever posted that they have won by using the completed grid link. (That is, since this year's revamp of the PB site).
It seems that the completed grid link is only worth trying IF you are already logged in to PB AND if you haven't time to enter the answers manually.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

Actually I did confirm a while back on here that the completed crossword link does work. I won it about 6-8 weeks ago. I load the blank crossword page first, click the crossword to start the timer and then drag the link from a different tab [Firefox].0 -

I would have been away at that time, so I'm especially grateful to you for posting this info again. I expect a lot of others are, too.
Now tell me, how did you work out this cunning plan? I'm full of admiration!!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

There's always one in the crowd. I didn't get to see Jules post on page 3 because MSE has been down. So they are repeats. Feel free to scan over them and if you already have the answers and go past those posts. :rolleyes:0 -

Read the above answer to that. MSE has been down and not all of us has had access to the answers.
At least some of us try to give positive contributions to the thread.0
