IPA and proving expenditure

Hi,

I’m looking for some advice.

Has anyone who has been signed up to an IPA been asked to send in evidence of expenditure to the OR?

I have an issue as my mom pays all my bills from her bank following my bankruptcy and she isn’t willing to send in her bank statements as evidence - because she obviously has all her own bills etc on them and she says it’s personal.

I was wondering if anyone has experience of the OR askingg for evidence of expenditure or whether they will just take my word for it.

Thank you for your help

    Usually taken on your word.

I did once ask someone for evidence (long time since I worked at OR's), as they had got hold of the average household income expenditure and copied every figure. And when questioned about it in interview denied that is what had happened.......
