  • Thank you beanielou!

We managed to get the tree down, cat didn't cause too much chaos but we did find a bauble behind the sofa!

Also managed to have a sort out which was good, how many mugs is too many .... asking for a friend :rotfl:

Have done a pile to sell, a pile to charity and some for the bin. Also did a cupboard stock take so hopefully will only have to do a top up shop this week which means food budget should stretch further! Yaaay

Now to relax with a cuppa x

  • Low spend today, £4.09 but means can last through the week without a shop, so that's good!

Not much else to report, just going to have some nice food and watch movies with OH to see in NYE.

Here's to 2019, wishing everyone a happy new year :D

Our NY Eve sounds like yours. Inside, quiet, watching TV, a few nibbles. Can't beat it :D

Wishing you all the best for 2019. Hope it's a good one for you. :)
  • Talk about crazy few days squeeezing in family trips thanks to birthdays, can now have a day of relaxing and catching up!

Although is a day of washing and ironing relaxing I'm not a sure! Least not got to venture out the house so it'll be a no spend day!

Pennies are doing ok, still got some left and have not used my cc so I'm taking it as a win for the first week of the year.... only 2 1/2 to go till payday!

Made a goal for 2019 want to have ideally paid £10,000 off, this will be a fair chunk still will have lots to go but it's a big chunk!

Not made any small payments will have to keep an eye and see if can make any more! At least I've not added to it!

Reading others diaries and makes me happy to see others doing charts too, it honestly does help!

  • Good luck to you. I use the just keep swimming saying almost everyday:-).

I've been getting things under control for about a year. I realised that it's not a thing that will be over quickly and it's a long ball game.

I will get there as will you. Good luck.

    It's a great saying!

I've realised that over the past few days, and we've come to the conclusion we will be taking a slight scenic route but that's fine as long as we don't go to crazy over the hills en route!

    Good luck to you too

Evening :) Nothing wrong with a scenic route and even the odd detour along the way as long as it keeps you on track and you get there in the end. :)

Think you've set something off with your charts :D x
  • Another crazy few days work wise but low spends, all in budget and for once two weeks to payday and I still have half my allowance yay for me!

Not much on debt reduction to report as just got to wait till payday!
