I’ve done some free CPD with FutureLearn & some NCFE L2 Certificate as online learning with local colleges.0

OpenLearn from the Open University has some free courses. My daughter has completed some about health and social care, more out of interest than for work, There may be something suitable for you on their website.0

I learned to code on Coursera. Absolutely loved the platform and the learning experience.
I think they may have more restrictions on the 'free' courses than they did before. https://www.coursera.org/ .
Also have you checked local colleges? Many have an array of courses which are free or subsidised for people out of work.0 -
You need to find out /work out which courses would be best for you - taking into account your existing qualifications and/or skills and experience. And then look to see if you can get free/subsidised courses that fit the bill.
There's no point in doing a course just because it's free, if it's not going to actually be any real use to you.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
I second open university. There are also usually free courses with local college if you meet the eligibility criteria. If you are unsure of your direction maybe focus on subjects that can be useful in any job. Things like customer service, IT skills etc.0
