Tax Refund Date confusion

Options
Hey everyone.

I have searched the forums here (and everywhere else I can think) but drawn a blank where my situation falls so I was hoping someone here could help.

So the question I'm not sure about is this one "Have you had any 2017-18 Income Tax refunded or off-set by us or JobCentre Plus?"

On my records, I've had a repayment stating it was for: "Overpayment from tax return for tax year ending 05 Apr 2017"
However, that repayment was actually made on the 17 Jan 2018.

So from my understanding is that the first quote of the return being made for 05 Apr 2017 would mean it falls outside of the dates needed to include it in the 2017-18 tax return. But the payment date of 05 Apr 2017 falls within that period.

So, do I need to include that repayment in the 2017-18 self-assessment?

Cheers,

Rob.

No - as you have not, as you have said, had any tax refunded which is relating to 2017/18.

That's great, thank you for the quick reply. That's what I thought but was just a little concerned with the actual payment date falling with the range. Thanks agian. :money:
