    It may be worth thinking about on-line shopping-that way you don't have to deal with the supermarkets in person and can check out any special offers at leisure without feeling stressed out. There's always a voucher around to give you a saving that covers the delivery charge and with Tesco you can make your list over time. I always start my list one evening and go back and finish it the next day before putting the order in so no pressure. Your arms also won't be two inches longer from carrying all the bags which is a definite plus ;)

  • I live in the Ribble Valley and we're lucky to have some great local shops but I still go to Asda once a week for staples etc. I find Asda Smartprice items to be absolutely fine and since buying them it's shaved loads off my bill. I buy meat from Blackburn market or the butchers in the nearest market town and freeze it. I know some people who use Northern Harvest home delivery and love it but I've never used it so can't comment, I like to pick my own food!!
