I have one I bought earlier this year. They are good. However a lot of the recipes that say things like cooked in 5 minutes haven't taken in to account the time it takes to come up to pressure and some foods need to de-pressurise slowly.
Have a look on you tube, try and find UK recipes as the American ones can be a bit strange.
There's a good facebook page run by the official UK suppliers. You should be able to find SW recipes there too.
There are other electric pressure cookers available for less money, but they all tend to have teflon coated inner pans where Instant Pot have stainless steel. Instant Pot also has a very good customer support system and there are spares available, eg extra sealing rings, additional inner pots.
I use mine a lot for cooking rice and making yogurt. Also cooking veg. It's good for making stews that taste like they've been slow cooked for hours.

Bubbs - have a look at https://www.slimmingeats.com. It's a blog written by a British woman who is now living in Canada. All her recipes are free or low syn. I use quite a few of her recipes and most I've tried have been good.
She has a section specifically for Instant Pot recipes.
