There is some law along the lines that spouses can't employ each other in a domestic capacity, to prevent exactly this type of arrangement presumably.
Sadly it is true - it would be ideal if my DW could become an Ofsted registered childcare provider and I could pay her to look after the kids using tax free childcare vouchers with her depositing the money into a pension.....I think....0 -
Could your wife start a small business providing laundry, ironing and packed lunch services which you could then purchase, .
Stuff ironing the shirts, why not take it to its logical extreme and add a bit of spice to their love life at the same time by her charging for sexual favours ?0 -

Hmm, wouldn't there be some sort of offsetting charge for that one - would we need to prove to the revenue that the balance of services provided should result in payment by the main wage earner?!I think....0 -
