    Sadly it is true - it would be ideal if my DW could become an Ofsted registered childcare provider and I could pay her to look after the kids using tax free childcare vouchers with her depositing the money into a pension.....

    Hmm, wouldn't there be some sort of offsetting charge for that one - would we need to prove to the revenue that the balance of services provided should result in payment by the main wage earner?!

    Depends rather, given how much either of you is being paid, on which is the main wage earner I'd imagine...
