Just wondered if anybody on the forum works for Sainsburys.
If you are due to work on Christmas day for 8 hours should this be paid as usual, is it unpaid, should it be taken annual leave or do you need to work another day to make this time up.
Many thanks for any help...

Your Team leader should be able to tell you.:beer:0 -
I believe your annual leave entitlement includes bank holidays and you will be scheduled to work your contracted hours some other day. This should all be arranged in advance.0

If 25th was a day you are normally contracted for then you should book it off unless your ok with being unpaid for it. In the past Ive always worked a day Ive not contracted for to make up for being unpaid for the day we were closed.0

There's also a social media network for staff, maybe the OP didn't want to ask the question on there.Samsung_Note2 wrote: »Your Team leader should be able to tell you.:beer:0
