asking for a person without internet access
will receive state pension on 6th Jul 2020., as checked with gov site he is male and single
has spent a lot of time receiving sickness benefit and then ESA , when out of work he always signed on etc
he has no employers pensions
single
rented social housing flat , at present 100% is paid
pays 20% of council tax bill from benefits
when he receives pension
how much will it be
will his rent be paid separate or will he have to contribute from pension
council tax , same question as above
I cannot seem to find a scenario shown online similar or same circumstances

As you have probably worked out - your friend can find out what state pension he'll get at https://www.gov.uk/check-state-pension
He may be entitled to additional benefits - as previously suggested, check the benefits forum & also this website https://www.pensionsadvisoryservice.org.uk/about-pensions/the-state-pension/other-state-benefits0
