forza horizon 4 split screen

Hi
This is driving us mad, can YOU help?
I have purchased XBox One S with Forza Horizon4 game and 2 controllers.
We would both like to be able to play against each other, utilising a split screen.
Would some kind soul PLEEEEEEZ explain just how we set up to do this.

Unfortunately that isn't possible as Forza Horizon 4 doesn't support split screen at all which sadly is all too common these days for the Xbox One and PS4. Nintendo are the only ones making an effort to keep supporting split screen.

Why did you not look into if this was possible ?

Before you go and put it all on Gumtree, what about Forza Motorsport 7 ?
Rent games for a month or 2 before you sell it.

Thanks for reply, as for looking into this problem prior to purchase, there is not a lot of precise info regarding this split screen option.
Also, if you look around the internet, there ARE screen split pictures????

I've just done a search and not seen any FH4 split screen images, I don't think any in this series ever have been although frequently developers will show off features that don't make it to the final release. The main Forza series does still support split screen though including Forza Motorsport 7 so perhaps that's what you've seen.

If you want to check if a game supports split screen or not Microsoft have a tag for it which shows if the game supports shared/split screen. These are all the current games with that tag:

It seems like only the main Forza series has split screen (Forza 7 being the latest)

It's not as "arcadey" though as Horizon, a little bit more realistic like "Gran Tourismo"

It's still a very good game though, might be a little cheaper than buying a new set up!!!
