Looking for work for inbetween Xmas and new year

Hi all,

Where would you advertise that I’m looking for work in between Xmas and new year?

I’m just looking for extra money as I don’t go back to work until the 2nd Jan.

Thanks

    you have probably left it a bit late to get into anywhere big as they recruit in October and November

    If you don't care what you do, Id be knocking on hotels, bars and restaurants doors
  • Try and get in with a reed agency, sign up on their site as immediately available to get on their text alert system.

    Got a text yesterday if someone could work over Xmas serving drinks/customer service then there was an hourly rate of £22.87 on offer with one of the nearest branches.

    There's also an app / site called Coople where you can register for shift work. But, like most agencies you'll need to do an in-person check to make sure you are legally employable, it's probably too late to do one before Christmas, possibly you'll get in before New Year.

    If you have any spotted pages in your local area might be worth asking if they will put an ad out for you on Facebook. Don’t have to include any details, just ask them if anyone needs any help over the holidays
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:
  • also ask on twitter, facebook etc- tag your location, work wanted.

    Any events planned for new years that are local to you, maybe they are looking for staff, it is a bit late but no harm in asking.

    I’ve not heard of this site. Good advice!
