DRS Debt

Hi,
I have received a letter through the post from a company called Debt & Revenue Services, stating I owe over £1000 on a vodophone bill. I have had 2 contracts with them, one for my phone and one for my partners phone, my phone is currently still with them but we missed a few payments on my partners phone and then they disconnected the sim and then later cancelled it, we do have screenshots confirming this has been cancelled and we do not have any outstanding balance on this contract. They have no record of any outstanding balance on this contract so in turn they have no reason to sell a debt on to this company.
This is also the first letter about this debt too as I have had no correspondence from vodaphone saying I owe money otherwise I would have arranged a payment plan.
Just after some advice on what to do now? Could I ring this DRS company and just basically tell them to do one as I have proof I do not owe any money to vodaphone?
Thanks guys.

Hi,
Best to send the "provit" letter to them, this will extract more details from them, and tell you exactly what the debt is for.

As far as I know DRS are just a debt collection agency.
So the debt is still with Vodafone. Do they refer to Vodafone as 'our client'?
There is a thread here where a Vodafone rep can help (as well as sending the prove-it)
