Other competitions during advent

Hi,
I am pretty new to this (as you can tell seeing as this is my first post) and have been failing to find the time to enter the competitions on the main board as well as the mag daily’s and advents.
I just wondered if anyone else has this issue. I haven’t entered the c2w ones at all as there aren’t enough free hours in my day.
Thank you to all who have posted comps and helped me find a new if not very lucrative hobby.

I tend to only enter the advents I want to win, especially around this point as most are now over/offers/not worth it.
I tend to think that people forget about the normal competitions, winwednesday and freebiefridays in the hope i'll be more lucky!
Just enter for things you really want

I go through about maybe 20-30 sites on the Web only list and ignore everything else.
I'll sometimes randomly click on a Multiple Entry if it's bumped on the main board and I spot it just to see what's on offer, and will look at Twitter and retweet what everyone else is tweeting but I don't physically make any effort to check any of the advent threads for any posts other than the web ones.
You could argue that the "regular" comps will have less entries 'cause everyone is pre-occupied / focusing their attention on the advents, which probably is true but then you weigh that up with non-compers "having a go" 'cause they want Christmas stuff who perhaps wouldn't choose to do the advents .. who-knows!
Just do what's good for you and don't stress about it. People say you need to have a positive attitude towards comping but I'd probably go the other way, go into every comp thinking "I'll never win that" and then you won't ever be disappointed and you won't stress about missing Day 19 on the Cash Converters Advent (or whatever).0
