I think it was just an innocent comment detailing the poster's amusement that the expectation of the name didn't match the reality .... regardless, that was the last day and this has now ended.

Not sure why it was taken so seriously lol, they were just stating it's not the sandwich shop.

Subway have removed the rubber poached egg picture from their site! Does this mean all outlets will now have the lovely soft omelettes again?

Not sure, I've never tried any of the egg products served by the Glaswegian tube
