Puregym No Hot Water

I'm a puregym member and for just over 2 weeks now the whole gym has no hot water as the boiler is broken. You cant wash your hands or have a shower. I even tried a cold shower and it was unbearable. I've spoken to the manager and head office but the only thing they will offer me is to freeze my membership for up to 3 months for £5.99 then come back. I can't do this as I've paid 4 weeks in advance for a personal trainer there.
Am I entitled to any compensation?
I am still using the gym 4 times a week but having to go earlier so I can go home and shower before work.
I'm also worrying the changing rooms and places can't be cleaned thoroughly with no hot water.
They can't tell me a date they have anyone coming out to fix the issue, the 'updates' just say the boiler is broken.

I would imagine that many similar places use cold water & disinfectant to clean changing rooms.
As for washing hands have you thought of hand wash?
As for showering could you arrange to go after work ?0 -
They should definitely offer you some sort of goodwill gesture but if you are still using the gym then you are still technically getting value for your membership.0

Cold showers never killed anyone. Will do the body good after a workout.0

11 months without hot water would be a bit much.leesa_fairy wrote: »I'm a puregym member and for just over 2 weeks now the whole gym has no hot water as the boiler is broken.
EDIT:
I now see the thread has been bumped from 2018.
It was half term after all...0 -
