My father was declared 9 years ago, discharged after 12 months. He recently won a PPI claim a few weeks ago and the loan company said they are paying the Official Receiver as it pre-dated his bankruptcy and it will be up to the OR if they decide that my father should get any of the money.
So whilst yes you can put in a claim it is unlikely you'll see any of the money unless it was an amount substantial enough to clear the debts with some left over. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
