Hi,
I have just completed my phone interview with the official reciver and she said she would write to me soon.
My question is she going to ask for my tenancy agreement? Is there any chance she wont? This is is big problem for me as I dont have a copy and my father is the landlord and I was really not wanting to burden him with all of this.
Thanks

1: why don't you have a copy?
2: a tenancy can exist without a written agreement.0 -
I was asked to see the agreement but my landlord was not informed of my B.R0

Hi there, we didn't have to send our tenancy agreement and the landlord wasn't informed. We had told the OR that there was no bankruotcy clause in the agreement but I've no way of knowing if this made any difference. When you read this forum it sometimes seems as if the individual ORs flip a coin to decide how to treat each case. Good luck.0

I think it's only if your rent is either classed as too low (unlikely I know!) or too high for a local rent, if it's an average rent for the area and the property they probably won't want the agreement - just checking the rent hasn't been inflated/deflated (I made a funny again!)
But I agree with Broaps it's a bit pot luck on what they request0 -
Dear OP
Tell them it's a verbal agreement and show them the evidence re money going to him via your to his bank account, should do the trick.
Caution advised, just tell them its a verbal agreement and if problems then tell them re proof of you paying him monthly fixed amounts

Thanks for the replies.
It's always been played in cash so it's not going to be easy to show it was paid. I'm just going to have to wait and she what they ask for. Fingers crossed.0 -
