How much will I be due to pay

Well perhaps you'd better let the Treasury know, becaue they think differently to you.
From https://www.gov.uk/marriage-allowance
Who can apply
You can benefit from Marriage Allowance if all the following apply:
you’re married or in a civil partnership
you do not pay income tax or your income is below your Personal Allowance (usually £11,850)
your partner pays income tax at the basic rate, which usually means their income is between £11,851 and £46,350
I think you are getting eligibility for Marriage Allowance and being able to benefit confused. The legislation, which the treasury were presumably responsible for, is quite clear that unless* you are liable to pay tax at one of the higher rates you are eligible to apply (and you would be successful in doing so).
*there is a exception involving being liable to tax at higher rate on dividends if it weren't for the dividend nil rate band0 -

I think you're right, I am. And it looks like maybe the OP is confused too, as post #6 says it will go in the next tax year, which will only be the case if full time earnings are a lot higher than the current part time ones.0
