Does anyone understand COT3s?

To cut a long story short; I've been negotiating an agreement to leave my job through ACAS, as they have admitted disability discrimination but don't feel they have a job away from the culprits to offer me.
ACAS provided the final COT3 last week; which I signed and returned to my employer as instructed, and asked for confirmation of when my employment would end and what the announcement would be, etc. I've heard nothing back from work at all.
I've contacted ACAS, but through this process I have had 7 conciliators, it's been a mess. In the meantime; I wondered if anyone could help with whether signing the COT3 automatically ended my employment, and whether I should be paid this week for the time before the COT3 was agreed? I'm paid monthly.
(Apologies if this is a very stupid question. I have bipolar and I am struggling with this; somewhat

I would have thought that a termination date would be part of the negotiations. How did it end with your employer? Did they claim you were redundant? Resigned?
If they have agreed the terms of the COT3 with ACAS then that is enough, they don't have to sign it to make it legally binding.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
