Working for Civica

Hi All,
Newbie, so I hope this is the right place to ask.
The company I work for was acquired by Civica earlier this year and everything seems to be going okay so far. I have scoured the internet for any feedback from others who have worked for a business that was acquired by Civica and I have come up blank. I haven’t seen any horror stories or much negativity at all surrounding this company which makes me uneasy - what’s the catch? There’s always a few disgruntled (ex) employees running their mouths online after a bad experience but I can’t find an awful lot. As I’ve just joined this forum after a few weeks of lurking, I thought I’d try my luck here. So my questions are:
Have you / do you know anyone who has been working for a company that was acquired by Civica? What was your / their experience of the transition?
Have you / do you know anyone who has worked for Civica in the past? What are your / their impressions as an employee of Civica?
They seem like a decent bunch, I just want to make sure I’m not being lulled into a false sense of security :rotfl:
Many Thanks,
J

Never heard of them, which may be a good thing (i.e. no bad news stories) or may mean they are small and not newsworthy. I see they are owned by 3i, which is hopefully a good sign.0

Have you checked Glassdoor? That can be a useful site.0

Yes I’ve had a look at Glassdoor and that’s useful from the perspective of people who work for Civica or are reviewing Civica, but unfortunately not the more specific question around acquisitions. Surprising considering how many companies they swallow up, I would have expected to find something. :think:Save £12k in 2019 #60 - £1189.43 / £12,000 (9.91%)0
