Sock game contents?

Having seen the 'Sock Game' on TV, I've tried to buy it, but constantly sold out.

I'm not creative, but it would seem easy enough to get socks and put contents in, but what should I get as contents, bearing in mind that I will need 4 of each?

Any help. Thanks

not a specific reply I'm afraid but how about a trip to the £ shops and look for things that come in a multi pack?
Perhaps pens, children's paintbrushes, mini storage containers, hair slides, wooden spoons, tea lights, small cotton reels????

Thanks for useful idea. I'll head to Poundland tomorrow.

Not as bad as I thought. Although TV showed 4 people playing, I see the game reviews say that there are only 2 socks and people play in teams, so I just have to find two identical things for each sock.
  • You could include things like a wrapped sweet (especially if it an odd shape), individually wrapped teabag, teaspoon, coin (chocolate or real), pencil sharpener or eraser (odd shapes again - more fun!), tube of sweets, trolley token, small notepad, bouncy ball, toothbrush, lottery ticket or scratchcard, mini tube of handcream/toothpaste, or one of those shopping bags that folds into itself.

A few pictures at the amazon link

One shows the box contents , and another shows the spinner with the descriptions on it

Thanks. Content collection is going well. I'll have to improvise with the use of a spinner - maybe just have non-player call out the item.

just write (or draw!!) them on individual pieces of paper then fold and place in a bowl so the players pull one out when needed?
