Advice please - IVA/DMP

Sooo after ignoring/burying head/ crying, looking, trying on my own / igrnoring again etc etc I contacted PayPlan. I’ve submitted all my info for myself as I cannot go on feeling this low (been on the sick with severe depression and awful ideations) to try and sort my debt!

PayPlan have come back suggested an IVA as I said first I would prefer to pay off ASAP.


Has anyone got any info/advice on IVA? I assumed DMP would be suggested


Not even discussing this with OH as each time I’ve try to raise the issue he’s like no, it will affect our credit rating etc etc so now I’m at the stage of stuff it, you sort your debts and I’ll do mine.

Try to focus, debt is just another problem to be dealt with, and the resources to do so are easily accessible.

We need to see a full statement of affairs before anyone can comment on your post, look in the stickie posts to find the SOA calculator, fill in as honestly as possible, and don’t forget to format it for MSE.
