M&S Food 40p deals

M&S are selling bags of carrots and 2.5kg of Marfona white potatoes (suitable for mashing or roasting) at just 40p each. There's a big stand near to the entrance promoting them, so presumably this is a loss leader to compete with the likes of Aldi and aiming to get people in, to do the rest of their Christmas food shop there.

Thanks Wizz.... .as similar incentives from Aldi, and Lidl last year just before Xmas dropped down to 19pence. Fill your boots time.
