Asda goody bag...

Well Tesco had run out of their goody bags when I asked a few weeks back. I was told they 'fly' out of the door

However, I noticed a sign outside Asda today, on my way in there, advertising the same kind of thing, so off I went, full of anticipation...

I got a small plastic bag with a small pack of Balsam Kleenex and a small booklet with some small money-off coupons.

Rather disappointing..

BUT...

In the back of the little booklet is a small questionairre which may win you a £50 Asda gift card if you fill it in and return it to Asda by 04/01/08.

Better than a kick in the teeth eh.

I think you just keep your eyes 'peeled' as they say :D

A quick search 'chucked out' a few 'Tesco goody bag' threads/posts, but this is such a busy forum that they'd probably be quite easy to miss.

They could possibly tell you in store, but I get the feeling it's a kind of 'loyal customer thing', so you're most likely to get them if you're a regular customer and check in store.. I'm hoping to get one at some point as they seem really good.

Where in the store do they keep them? Is it Customer services?

    Thank you

Tesco don't tell their 'loyal customers' either... well, not round here! I think it is a word of mouth stampede, presumably lead by the staff's family and friends.
This also explains why we never see any of the Tesco H&B coupons - just an odd booklet with the back pages ripped out.
Sour grapes? YES! I asked at the pharmacy - I was actually speaking to the pharmacist- who looked in a cupboard, laughed and said,
    'they've taken them all again!'
