If you're buying so little, try going shopping!

How rude - you have no idea why the OP doesn't want/is unable to go shopping.

I, for one, am contemplating placing my first online order next week to avoid the madness that is the supermarket the week before Christmas. Couldn't even get into the car park today to do any shopping! After a lifetime of grocery shopping, it would be my one Christmas luxury, even though I don't actually celebrate Christmas in the traditional mayhem and over-spending form that it has become.

Just seen that Iceland has a free Christmas delivery offer - £35 spend.

That £35 spend is on the whole year, to paraphrase, £35 is not just for Christmas;)

It is highly unlikely that you will get a delivery slot for the week before Christmas this close to the time.
Our local Tesco has a few openings on Wednesday, but nothing showing after this.
Most supermarket will only deliver up to & including Sunday 23rd. this is so that, if items are unavailable, the customer still has the 24th to try & find them elsewhere.

The supermarkets 'local' to me have quite a few slots available. Placed my order and my shopping is being delivered on 23rd.

Same here, had a e mail update from them, seems they've taken on more pickers / drivers to keep it going

If correct I can see them gaining a lot of market share over this period
