To win a paperback copy of Move to Murder by Antony M. Brown just answer this simple question:
Which year were the first red public telephone boxes introduced on the streets of Britain?
A. 1921
B. 1924
C. 1925
D. 1935
I would go with 1925 for the answer although they may want 1924. There was a competition in 1924 for a new box but 3 initial test boxes were not installed until mid 1925.

The red K2 telephone box was introduced to the streets of London in 1926.
So none of those answers?
I agree it was thought of in 1924 - but sites are suggesting that the winner of the competition wanted it to be blue - it wasn't until later that they changed the design and painted it red..
the later design the K6 was in 1935 - but as suggested before this was not the answer.
in 1921 there were boxes but no standard design - again this was too early.December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0
