Parking Fines Limited

Anyone had any experience of them?

Iv had two PCN's for my Ambulance Car (Was parked outside hospital). I have taken photos of the car as its a response car with blue lights fitted so im almost 99% sure its not right to ticket an ambulance? I wasnt parked in a improper way but I didnt have a parking permit for that area. Was inside hospital at the time too which is a real kick in the teeth:mad: Had a shock when I came back out and the boys had been busy!

Anyway, anyone have any idea what these Parking Fine people are like?

Zeb

    I know, so have I!

Well my plan is to send in the three copies of photos showing the car and a cover letter explaining the vehicles use. Hopefully that should end it...

I assume the PCNs are from a private company acting on behalf of the hospital trust?

If so do not contact them. there is a major difference between your legal obligations to the police or council and a private company raising parking"invoices",

this is not a fine if it is from a private company.you do not have to identify yourself as the driver.

I suggest you go to the pepipoo website and have a look at the parking tickets forum for expert advice

I also suggest you pm sarah1969 on this forum as her knowledge is legendary about this issue

I suspect that the name of the firm (ie. not Parking Services Ltd) tells you all you need to know about them and their business model.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I sent them their tickets back today with a cover letter and pictures clearly showing the vehicle ticket/number plate and the blue lights fitted to the roof.

If they make a big fuss il inform the local paper lol! "Ambulance fined for parking offence". Makes a good headline ha ha!
  • can any 1 help, i was issued with a PNC and i had bought ticketsone only gave me an hour instead of two. it took my money £2.20 and clocked up £2.00 on the ticket and only put 1hour, i displayed it thinking they would notice the error but instead they served me a PNC:mad: , ive tried to dispute it with my evidence but to no avail. i have only got till the 21st to pay it other wise it doubles, should i risk an appeal ?? any advice please:rolleyes:
